Clinical applications specialists train doctors and other medical staff on how to use new devices and incorporate them into their practice to better serve patients. They use those experiences, as well as their own medical training, to provide feedback on the devices to manufacturers.
Why it's great: It's rewarding to bring new technology to different practices. "I like to meet new people and travel to different areas of the country and see how others do the same clinical job that I used to do," says clinical applications specialist Shelly Bugman.
